THE FULL STORY

Ever since I was a kid I would always get excited about the packaging sometimes more often than the toys inside. To me, the packaging was a way to create anything I wanted and I had a great deal of respect for the material as a medium to my craft. I once created a solar-oven that would cook hotdogs and made a whole meal for my two older brothers. Granted it was more of a "warmdog" but my brothers obliged me and ate it with a smile knowing that their 7 year old brother had been dedicated to this project and would not accept failure.

I've since continued my dedication in packaging with the same energy and optimism of that 7 year old boy. I am proud to say that I graduated from one of the best Packaging Engineering programs in the nation at San Jose State University. Here I have acquired skills such as Artios, Solidworks, and Project Management as well as all the industry testing standards and materials knowledge that are necessary for success in the fields of medical and sustainable packaging.

While working full-time, I am continuing my education through the University of San Diego earning my Masters in Engineering, Sustainability, and Health. As I continue to work in the field of packaging my goal is to be a part of a team that produces high-quality packaging while reducing the amount of plastic waste in the world.

I am ready to apply my learned knowledge as well as excited to learn and adapt with the future of Packaging Engineering.
